We strongly recommend having an inspection, even new homes. Most contractors these days are high quality builders, but that doesn’t mean a portion of the work wasn’t sub-contracted out to third parties due to high demand. This can cause a little bit of chaos during the build and for the local city inspectors to keep up. It’s never going to be a bad idea to have a third-party home inspector come out to make sure your investment is going to retain its value. After all, a few hundred dollars spent could save you thousands in the end.
